Training Feedback

Dear friends, 

As you remember, on the 27th of September we had the training «Участь у міжнародних проектах як один із шляхів підвищення мотивації учнів до вивчення іноземної мови»

. It was conducted in Hadiach school #4. All the participants of the training got an e-mail from Ruslana Shamanska and had to do some tasks. 
1. Answer the message and write about training.
2. Read the article "Three top banana skins", write the summary on it and send me before the 24th of October.

Today is evening of the 24th of October.
I've got only three summaries from Vita Kononenko, Lena Riasenchuk and Miroslava Sirenko.
As for answers to my e-mail , five persons have sent it to me:Vita Kononenko, Lena Riasenchuk, Miroslava Sirenko, Liudmyla Chepurna and Nadia Tykhonenko.

I am still waiting for Lesia Dolgopolova, Natalia Demchenko, Svitlana Danchenko and Larysa Mauer.

The U.S. Interagency Conference on English Language Programs in Ukraine “English Language Education: a United Approach” was held on October 6-7, 2011 in Kyiv.

Muskie program from IREX

The Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellowship Program (Muskie) provides opportunities for Master’s level study in the United States.

Muskie is a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State, and administered by IREX (International Research & Exchanges Board).

Muskie provides opportunities for Master's level study in the United States to citizens from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. Participants are selected through an open, merit-based competition.

Хочу з Вами поділитися радістю - я отримала грант від Уряду Сполучених Штатів для реалізації проекту "Здорова школа". Згідно даного проекту у нашій школі будуть впроваджуватися здоров'я зберігаючі технології.


Для висвітлення перебігу проекту "Здорова школа" я створила новий блог, де будуть висвітлюватися усі новини, які повязані з дією проекту в нашій школі.

Вивчення та викладання англійської мови: єдиний підхід

Посол Джон Теффт виступає с заключною промовою в перший день дводенної міжвідомчої конференції

6 жовтня 2011 р.

Посол Джон Теффт виступив с заключною промовою в перший день дводенної міжвідомчої конференції американських державних органів та установ, які займаються питаннями підтримки викладання та вивчення англійської мови в Україні. Конференція була проведена в готелі «Русь» в Києві. Вона зібрала американських та українських партнерів,  задіяних в програмах з викладання та вивчення англійської мови, з метою покращення спілкування, скоординованості, співробітництва та співпраці між зацікавленими сторонами. Представники Корпусу миру в Україні, Державного департаменту США, Оборонного мовного інституту та Департаменту освіти США зробили низку презентацій щодо програм з англійської мови, які вже діють в Україні, та проектів, які можуть бути прийняті в майбутньому.
