New courses of British Council

Teacher Development Programme
September – December 2012
The British Council Ukraine invites applications for the next round of Online Teacher Development courses. They will start as soon as the groups are formed, tentatively at the beginning of October.
All the courses are mapped to the British Council Continuing Professional Development Framework and fit the In-Service Teacher Professional Development Curriculum endorsed by the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sport. You can identify your development stage here: http://www.teachingenglish.org.uk/continuing-professional-development or here (download file). A minimum level of English is B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. You can check your level here (download file).
If you are enrolled on a course, you must demonstrate a high degree of commitment, openness to change and willingness to try out new ideas as well as reflect on your own experience.
The courses are asynchronous which means that you can attend and do the tasks at the times most convenient for you but you are expected to attend regularly and complete all assignments by agreed deadlines.
Certificates are awarded on condition of regular and active attendance and successful completion of assignments.
