In this session we will reevaluate the listening task and challenge some standard notions about listening, the most important of which might be: “Is what I’m doing in class really a listening task?”
Teachers will get practical advice on making short, effective listening practices and expanding the range of activities they bring to class. During the session, participants will engage in a range of short listening tasks themselves.
