Best Practices in Running and Administering
Professional Teachers' Ofganizations

In order to build capacity and promote strong foundation in TESOL-Ukraine, RELO office invited Ms. Jodi Crandall to Kyiv to conduct a training on best practices in running and administering professional teachers’ organizations.
It was a great opportunity for TESOL-Ukraine regional coordinators to participate in this training and combine it with a regular planning meeting for the next year activities.
The following topics below were touched during the training:
- SWOT Analysis and Reflection
- Strategic Planning
- Mission Statements Vision Statements
- Some Valuable Skills for an ELT Leader
- Understanding the importance of a strong web presence
- Planning and organizing events
- Recruitment and retention of members
TESOL-Ukraine leaders also created Facebook page. This training was intensive, educational and fruitful.
